Pricing

What a dental search costs, and what you are paying for.

Recruiting fees are quoted three different ways in dentistry, and the three are not comparable — they put the risk in different places. Here is how each one works, and where our model sits.

The three ways it is charged.

Job board posting

What you pay
A flat fee to publish the ad, paid whether or not anyone suitable applies.
What you still do
All of it. Screening, chasing, scheduling, and the follow-up when a candidate goes quiet.
Who carries the risk
Entirely yours. The board is paid at the moment of posting.

Contingency recruiting

What you pay
Nothing up front; a percentage of the hire’s first-year compensation once someone starts.
What you still do
Little, but you are one of several clients the recruiter is racing to fill first.
Who carries the risk
Shared, but the incentive is speed and volume — whoever can be placed fastest, not who fits best.

Retained search

What you pay
Paid in instalments across the search, typically regardless of the outcome.
What you still do
Little. The search is exclusive and worked properly.
Who carries the risk
Largely yours again: the fee is owed whether or not the seat is filled.

The DDS Recruit model

Split, so we only win when the match does.

A nominal monthly search fee

Enough to make the search exclusive and properly resourced, so your roles are worked rather than queued behind someone else’s. Deliberately small relative to a retained search — it buys the commitment, not the outcome.

A success fee when a placement sticks

The larger share is owed on a placement, which is the only event that means the search worked. If nobody is hired, that share is never charged.

A one-year guarantee behind it

If a placement leaves within the first year, we step back in to find a replacement at best effort, at no additional charge. That is the part that makes a fast, weak match worthless to us as well as to you.

The exact figures depend on the seat and the depth of the search — an associate retainer and a Chief Clinical Officer search are not the same piece of work. We put real numbers in front of you on the discovery call, before you commit to anything.

Get the numbers for your search.

Tell us which seats you are filling and we will scope it, quote it, and explain what the guarantee covers.
